This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service, which monitors Google reviews, sends notifications, and allows you to reply to reviews.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
- Account Data: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password.
- Google Account Data (Via Google API): If you authorize our Platform to connect to your Google Business Profile, we collect and sync historical and new customer reviews, ratings, reviewer names, and review dates.
- Payment Data: Financial transactions are processed securely through our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com. We do not store or collect your credit card or bank account details on our servers. Paddle provides us only with transaction confirmation and subscription status.
2. GOOGLE API SERVICES USER DATA POLICY COMPLIANCE (LIMITED USE)
Reputalion.com's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- We access your Google Business Profile account solely to sync reviews, send you real-time notifications, and post or update your official replies to these reviews.
- We DO NOT sell, share, lease, or rent your Google account data or customer reviews to any third parties, advertising platforms, or data brokers.
- We do not use your Google data to target advertisements or profile users.
3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the collected data to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Platform.
- Process your replies and publish them back to your Google Business Profile.
- Send you email notifications regarding new customer reviews.
- Manage your subscription and payments via Paddle.
4. SHARING AND DISCLOSURE OF DATA
We only share information with third-party service providers necessary to operate our service:
- Paddle.com: Our Merchant of Record handles payment processing, fraud prevention, and sales tax compliance in the United States.
- Hosting and Infrastructure: We use secure cloud providers located in the United States to store dashboard data.
- We may disclose data if required by US federal or state laws or to protect our legal rights.
5. U.S. STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a resident of California or other US states with active privacy laws, you have the right to request access to the data we collect, as well as request deletion of your personal data. 6. DATA SECURITY AND RETENTION
We use industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS) to protect your data. We retain your Google API data only as long as your account remains active. You can disconnect your Google account at any time via your dashboard, which will immediately delete cached reviews from our database.
Google API Services Usage
Reputalion uses Google API Services only to provide review management functionality for connected Google Business Profiles.
We may access business profile information, review data, reviewer names, ratings, review dates, and related account information necessary to display reviews and generate professional responses.
We do not sell Google user data. We do not use Google user data for advertising purposes. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide and improve the service, comply with law, or protect our rights.
Users may request deletion of their data at any time through our Data Deletion.
